NASA Images of Storm Damage

NASA has published before and after pictures of Friday’s storm damage in the mid-Atlantic. Using Photoshop, I created an image from the differences in the photos, focused on the Baltimore-DC metro areas. It provides interesting insight into the extent of the damage based on power outages.

Lights before storm, after storm, and the image difference:

We were one of very few houses that didn’t lose power during the storm. We’ve been a cooling and charging station for our neighbors, and we’re storing a lot of frozen meat for all of them. Power is starting to come back into the neighborhood, but it’s been slow.
