Randolph Itch 2 a.m. Is No More

One of my favorite comics is no longer available online.  Randolph Itch 2 a.m. was a humor comic (as opposed to a political comic) by Tom Toles on United Media’s site.  It was a single panel, with Tom’s signature after-comment in the lower right, that looked at the world with a skewed eye.  If anyone knows what happened, I’m interested in knowing!

I, too, was sorry to see the demise of Randolph Itch 2 AM. I read it almost daily in the local newspaper for southwest Washington State, The Columbian. I did a little searching online, and came to find out that Tom Toles, Randolph Itch creator, has taken a job as an editorial cartoonist for the Washington Post, I believe. As part of the deal, he had to drop writing Randolph Itch, much to the chagrin of Itch fans worldwide, apparently. Here’s a story about it: http://pc99.detnews.com/aaec/story/details.hbs?myrec=138

Hi Scott!  Thanks for the info.  I posted an entry on the main page with your pointer.
