While we were in New Mexico, Marion and Jane were preparing to give a talk for one of Marion’s former students in Australia. Teresa and I took Marion’s presentation and made a PowerPoint template for them that highlighted the beauty of Las Cruces. It was a lot of fun, and one of the few times I felt that my fledgling graphic design skills came out decently.

Jane is a retired VP of the National Association of Partners in Education (NAPE), among many other accomplishments. Marion is a retired professor of education from Virginia Tech, and a brilliant statistician as well.
