U2 in 3D at IMAX

T and I went to see U23D today at the IMAX theater at the Maryland Science Center. It’s a U2 concert from last year in Buenos Aires. It’s a great concert film. At first, the 3D effect seemed a bit overdone, but after about 15 minutes, you get into the experience. I think Heart of Gold with Neil Young was a better film overall, but this was a great deal of fun. They did all of my favorites, and it is extremely well produced. 85 minutes, which is much longer than most IMAX films. Go see it if you like U2. If you don’t know about U2, the movie will make you realize what great musicians, writers, and performers they are.
