Electrical and plumbing rough-in is complete, and the inspector is coming today. However, the nice surprise yesterday was that the contractors re-sided the back of the house (salvaging the pieces of old siding to fill in the sides where the new roof went in). It’s just vinyl, but it looks good! We’ll probably re-clad the whole house next year.
Matching the color of the old siding was not possible… because the previous owners had painted that awful blue over the blue-gray siding at some point. That’s why we decided to re-clad the back and salvage the painted stuff, so there’s no major mismatch on any side right now.
