BAM! 18″ of snow, drifting to 3 feet. When they first started talking about this storm on Thursday, they were calling for a “winter storm” of 2-4 inches. The forecast kept getting larger, but we pretty much discounted it as alarmist mid-atlantic drivel.
Well, let’s just say it exceeded expectations. 18″ in our driveway this morning. Teresa is “administrator on call” for the pharmacy department this weekend and her beeper has been going off since 5am. The interstates are closed, airports are having lots of cancellations and delays.
Here’s a link to our weather report. On the plus side, it’s supposed to be in the upper 50’s by mid-week.
