Garden Open to Community – June 9, 10am-1pm

Hi neighbors,

Even though the community garden tour was canceled, we’d like to open our garden at 637 Anneslie Rd to everyone on Saturday, June 9, from 10am to 1pm, weather permitting.

We’ve constructed our garden to be a welcoming, relaxing place for our friends and neighbors. Come see everything we’ve done over the last two years. Touch the stone, play in the water sculpture, learn about the trees and plants, meet other folks in the community.

Kids are more than welcome, but please no strollers on the new sod in the side garden.

No dogs in the gardens please. Front lawn and around the sidewalk – no problem.

Our garden wouldn’t have been possible without our fabulous friends from Ontario, Virginia Burt (a brilliant landscape architect) and Walt Rickli (an amazingly talented stone sculptor). Check out their web sites!

Welcome to our garden!

Teresa and Jim

Your gardens look fantastic. I hope your “Open Garden” was appreciated by many! Sorry I neglected to tell you in person yesterday.
