Beer Note: Corsendonk Abbey Pale Ale

Here is a Belgian pale ale, Corsendonk.  As expected, it has a sweet malty finish like most Belgian abbey ales.  In this case it is lighter and less alcoholic than others I’ve had, so less like a barley-wine and easier to drink like a beer.  None of the bitter I expect in a pale ale.  I give it a B.

I got to try Corsadonk last year–in Mentor of all places. Jim, I stumbled onto your web site and enjoyed catching up on how things are going for you. You’ve always been a person of many different interests. Me–I’m still judging science fairs, but now here in Arizona, and I’m partial to Big Head Todd & The Monsters–“All the Love You Need.”
