After two years of living with endless and growing SPAM on my Hotmail account, I’ve found web-mail Nirvana. OddPost has an Outlook Express-like three-paned interface, strong SPAM filtering, no advertising, 50M of space for e-mail, access to your POP3 accounts, responsive support, knowledge of who really runs the company, and new features all the time.
After a 30-day free trial, OddPost is $30 per year. After using it for six days, I paid my subscription. In return, I can now set my From: field to point to my address at this site. (I could set reply-to prior to payment.)
I need a web-mail solution separate from my private home account and my work account because the transactions I do on those accounts need more security and less noise. My web-mail account gives me a bucket for all the newsletters I subscribe to and the businesses I interact with as a consumer on the web.
I’m in love with OddPost. Check it out!
