I’m reading lots in the blogosphere about problems with MacBook laptops. Random shutdowns, noises, overheating, discolorations, etc. Maybe I’m just lucky, or maybe I am part of a silent majority.
I’ve had no problems with my MacBook since some initial reboots during my early software updates and installations. I use it 2-3 hours a day, sometimes more, doing fairly intense stuff like video, photos, and 3-D modeling (in addition to lots of web stuff). Yes, it gets warm, but not enough to take it off my lap.
