Relocating Geeks II

I ordered our new internet service for the house.  I chose SpeakEasy.net and got 6.0Mbps down/786Kbps up with OneLink (no other telephone service provider required) and Voice Over IP (VoIP).  Up to four static IP addresses and a bunch of other cool stuff.  $30 a month for unlimited long distance to US and Canada.  South Africa is $0.14 a minute.  Rock on. And, if I choose, I can sell WiFi service to my neighbors through my connection and get stuff knocked off my bill.

Hi Jim – you will have to explain the cost structure for this speakeasy service Is it 65+30 per month for VoIP + internet access + long distance?

Yes, you pay a fee for the DSL service, and then $30/month gives you unlimited long distance in the US and Canada with VoIP.  And international rates are CHEAP!  South Africa is $0.15 a minute.
